Support Our Youth by Supporting
the PRCUA Education Fund, Inc.
The cost of higher
education is increasing at a rapid pace with each passing year. It becomes
more difficult for students to attend school and at the same time, work to
pay the bills. It is because of financial assistance from organizations like
the Polish Roman Catholic Union of America (PRCUA) that students are able to
attend college and concentrate more on school work rather than go into the
work world to pay for their schooling.
As the number of
applications increase, so does the need for more money. By supporting the
PRCUA Education Fund, Inc., PRCUA scholarship amounts will increase to keep
up with inflation and more students will have the opportunity to receive
scholarships.
The PRCUA Education Fund,
Inc. is a non-profit organization under the laws of the State of Illinois.
It is a 501(c)(3) organization under the Internal Revenue Code.
There are three types of
donations:
1. A one time contribution of less than $24,999.00 that can be used in one
year or divided over a period of years for a specific area of study.
2. A donation of $25,000.00 or more in capital deposits within a twelve (12)
month period. This donation amount qualifies for a PERPETUAL fund.
The income generated from this donation is to be used to award scholarship
grants to students for a specific area of study.
3. A donation in any amount that shall be directed to the PRCUA Education
Fund and is to be used for purposes directed by the Board of Directors.
Donations can be made in
cash, checks, real estate property, securities, gifts of future interest,
insurance, wills and trust. This is also a great opportunity to make a
donation “in honor of” or “in memory of “a special person or group in your
life.
In today’s society, higher
education is a MUST, and at the same time, it is expensive. Your donation in
any amount to the PRCUA Education Fund, Inc. will make a difference for our
youth who will be the future leaders in Polonia and in the community.
