The PRCUA family gathered on Sunday, September 13, 2026, for the Inaugural Celebration following the 64th Quadrennial Convention—a joyful day marking the beginning of a new chapter of leadership and service for the Polish Roman Catholic Union of America.

The day began with a transitional meeting of the PRCUA Board of Directors. During the meeting, outgoing directors were recognized and thanked for their dedicated service and commitment throughout their terms. The occasion also marked the passing of the baton to the newly elected members of the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee, as the organization welcomed its incoming leadership.

Following the Board meeting, PRCUA members, families, and friends gathered at Holy Trinity Polish Mission in Chicago for the Inaugural Mass. The jubilant celebration brought together members of the PRCUA family in faith and fellowship. PRCUA members and friends played an active role in the liturgy, serving as readers, cantors, and gift bearers. The Mass featured a meaningful homily delivered by PRCUA National Chaplain Very Reverend Canon Walter Ptak, who concelebrated with the Director of the Polish Mission, Pastor Robert Będziński.

Following Mass, guests continued the celebration at a reception held in the Great Hall of the Polish Museum of America. The gathering provided an opportunity for members, leaders, and distinguished guests to celebrate the newly inaugurated leadership and the continued mission of the PRCUA. Remarks were offered by PRCUA President Agnieszka Bastrzyk, Consul General of the Republic of Poland Regina Jurkowska, and PRCUA Secretary-Treasurer Julie Prado. Their words reflected on the significance of the occasion and the shared commitment to strengthening the PRCUA community and its fraternal mission. To close the celebration, outgoing Vice President Micheline Jaminski led the assembly in a champagne toast, commemorating the day and honoring the transition from one chapter of leadership to the next.

The Inaugural Celebration was a fitting conclusion to the 64th Quadrennial Convention and a joyful beginning for the PRCUA’s new leadership. Surrounded by faith, fellowship, and friends, the PRCUA family looks forward to continuing its tradition of service and building a strong future together.
