Newborn Child Benefit

The Polish Roman Catholic Union of America is proud to offer the Newborn Child Benefit program at no additional cost to our qualified members. We believe in offering our members programs that provide fraternal benefits. Our Newborn Child Benefit program is designed to provide extra protection for our members against childbirth risks.

DEATH BENEFIT
The Polish Roman Catholic Union of America will pay a $1,000 death benefit to the parents if their newborn child dies from the 6th to the 60th day of birth.

GUARANTEED INSURABILITY BENEFIT
The Polish Roman Catholic Union of America, upon receipt of an application, will issue a life insurance certificate with full Juvenile membership eligibility, at standard rates on the life of the infant, up to $5,000 of insurance without evidence of insurability. The application and the first premium must be made before the infant attains the age of 60 days. The insurance will become effective when the infant attains the age of 61 days.

NEWBORN CHILD BENEFIT REQUIREMENTS
Both parents must be insured members of the Polish Roman Catholic Union of America. Each parent must have a permanent insurance certificate in the amount of $5,000 or more in force prior to the time of pregnancy.

The newborn child death benefit will be paid upon receipt of proof of death by the Home Office.

Orphan Benefit

The Polish Roman Catholic Union of America is proud to offer the Orphan Benefit program at no additional cost to the eligible children of our qualified members. We offer our members programs that provide additional fraternal benefits.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
Any child, natural or legally adopted of both parents. An orphan is defined as a child who becomes fully orphaned by the death of his or her lawful parents.

PARENTS REQUIREMENTS
Both parents must be insured members of the Polish Roman Catholic Union of America. Each parent must have a permanent insurance certificate in the amount of $5,000 or more in force at the time of their death.

ORPHAN BENEFITS
Orphan benefits become effective the month following the approval of the Orphan Benefit application. The Orphan Benefit allowance will be in accordance with the following schedule:

Ages Monthly Benefit:
0-5 $50.00
6-13 $75.00
14-18 $100.00
The Orphan Benefit will cease at age 19, if and when the orphan is adopted, marries or becomes self supporting.

The Orphan Benefit may be paid to the legal guardian, person, or persons who have become responsible for the orphan.
