On Monday, April 20, 2015, the Embassy of Poland, Washington DC hosted a conference on the Visa Waiver Program to update Polish-American organizations on the current status of legislation permitting Poland to enter the program, and to discuss legislative strategies for best accomplishing that goal. APF External Relations Director Małgorzata Ławrynowicz spoke to the organizations about how to approach meetings with Members of Congress and congressional staff, and how Polish-Americans can be more effective in these lobbying efforts, based on her years of experience on Capitol Hill.
