The 78th Annual National PRCUA Bowling Tournament will be held on April 10, 11, and 12, 2015, at Sherman Bowling Center, 1531 W. Sherman Blvd., Muskegon, Ml. This year's tournament is being hosted by St. Michael the Archangel Soc. #78.
Squad times are as follows:
Singles/Doubles - Friday, April 10 - 9:00 am and 12:30 pm
Team Event - Saturday, April 11 - 9:00 am and 1 :00 pm
(Opening ceremony at 12:30 pm)
Singles/Doubles - Sunday, April 12 - 9:00 am
To secure your preferred squad time, be sure to send in your completed entry form promptly, along with the correct fees. Please fill in all information on the form, including your average. The deadline for submitting your entry is Friday, March 27, 2015.
The Holiday Inn /Muskegon Harbor is the host hotel for the tournament; it is located at 939 Third St., Muskegon, Ml. To reserve a room, call 231-722-0100 and request the Polish Roman Catholic Union of America group rate, which is $89.99 per night, plus tax. This includes a hot breakfast; please call early to secure your reservation. Cut-off date for reservations is March 9th, after that time, rooms will be subject to availability.
Frank Swiatek, Dave Chandonnet and their committee from Soc. 78 have been busy planning a fun and exciting event for all of us. They will be hosting the following:
• A hospitality gathering on Thursday, April 9, at the Polish Union Hall in Muskegon;
• Celebration of Mass on Saturday;
• A short banquet to be held at the bowling center on Saturday, followed by a social gathering at the Polish Union Hall.
An information packet will be distributed at the hotel and the bowling facility detailing all of these activities (along with directions.) Additional information will be posted in a future issue of the Narod Polski.
Please mark your calendars, send in your entry forms, make your hotel reservations and prepare to have a great time in Muskegon! I am looking forward to seeing everyone there!
