Dear PRCUA Members and Friends!
Time goes by swiftly, especially as we age. It seems that only a year ago we were wishing each other a Happy 2023… and I hope the last year was happy and prosperous for you and your family. We now look to the future and as always hope for peace on earth. Although at times it feels that it will never come, we need to do what is best in the realm we can control. We may not be able to influence world leaders, but we surely can influence our friends and neighbors, family and coworkers. This past year I read a book “Make Your Bed” by Adm. William H. McRavin which gives ten basic things you can do every day that can change your life and the lives of those around you. To paraphrase a part of his commencement speech to the University of Texas 2014 graduating class of 8000 students, he quotes Ask.com, stating that the average American meets approximately. ten thousand people in his or her lifetime, but if you can influence just ten people then in five generations, that 8000 people can influence 800 million people. If they can do that, what can 44,000 PRCUA members do to the world? I ask that you get out there and begin influencing. Our members could cover the world in those five generations  Remember to be proud of your heritage and instill that in your children, their children and their children. With your support and membership in the Polish Roman Catholic Union of America, you help ensure that our culture will continue to thrive through Polish language and dance schools as well as the other cultural and fraternal events we sponsor throughout the year. On behalf of the officers, directors and staff of the PRCUA, I wish you a happy and fruitful New Year! Remember, get involved, stay involved and get others involved! Lastly, don’t forget to ‘make your bed’.

Fraternally yours,
James Robaczewski
PRCUA National President
