Each year, the PRCUA Fraternal Department organizes a coloring contest to commemorate Polish American Heritage Month.  The theme of this year’s contest was “Celebrating 150 Years of the PRCUA.”  This year marks the beginning of the year-long celebration of our 150th anniversary! PRCUALife is the oldest Polish fraternal organization in the United States, serving the Polish American community since 1873. We are very proud of our history and heritage, and we were excited to invite our youth to share in that pride by coloring our jubilee logo illustration in this year’s contest.

The contest was open to all members from ages 3 to 18 years.  This was a record-breaking year; we received 293 entries from five states, including Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, New York, Pennsylvania, and Texas. Three winners in six age categories were selected during a blind judging by PRCUA Home Office employees.  There were many beautiful entries, and our staff had some difficulty in choosing their favorites!

We wish to thank all the participants and congratulate the winners!

Winners are featured in the December edition of the Naród Polski newspaper. Click here to view the digital edition.
